We have new information on a crash between two Tulsa fire trucks back in September.

The department demoted two firefighters after an investigation of the accident.

The accident left two trucks - Engine 3 and Engine 15 - with some damage, but the accident also revealed firefighters on board weren't wearing seatbelts. That's a major violation of fire department policy.

The trucks were on the way to the same call when they collided at 7th and Elgin. The drivers involved, a captain and fire equipment operator, were both demoted by one rank.

Three other firefighters got disciplinary letters, but no other action.
