Suspect In Kayla Ferrante Murder On Trial In Unrelated Case

Prosecutors are calling witnesses in the trial of two men accused in a string of home invasion robberies from last summer.

Edwin Daniels and Michael Hilliard are charged with a long list of crimes, including seven counts of first degree burglary, two counts of kidnapping, and several weapons related crimes.

Prosecutors say there are about a dozen victims.

Daniels is also set to go on trial next spring in an unrelated case.

He is charged with the murder of a Kayla Ferrante. She was killed in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity the day after she graduated high school.
