A triple shooting in South Tulsa claimed one man's life and wounded two others on Friday morning. Tulsa police continue to investigate what happened near 71st Street and Memorial Road.

Police say it took place inside a residential garage in the 7100 block of South 77th East Avenue at 12:43 a.m.

Homicide Sgt. Dave Walker says at least two armed men entered the garage and opened fire on three victims. One man was killed and two others taken to the hospital. One is believed to be in critical condition.

One of the wounded men is the father of a child found in the home. The school-aged child was in a back bedroom at the time of the shooting and was not injured.

"The gunmen's motive is not clear, and we do not know if any words were exchanged," Walker said.

Police are searching for two men in a Chevy Tahoe, color unknown. A witness told officers the men were wearing masks.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-2677.
