Mayes County Deputies Search For Woman Who Escaped Custody

Authorities are searching for a woman who escaped from deputies in Mayes County.

Court records show Laurin Lemley was in front of a judge Monday for drug charges. She was ordered to start a 30-day jail sentence, for failing to complete community service.

Somehow, the sheriff's office says Lemley slipped away from deputies, between the courthouse and the jail.

Deputies have set up a perimeter, but haven't caught her.

Mayes County says none of its deputies were hurt during the escape.
