The City of Tulsa crews are working hard to catch up on removing tree debris, after the summer storm that pounded Tulsa two weeks ago. It knocked down mature trees, power lines and limbs.
The city says there's been so much to collect, crews are behind schedule. Workers added an extra pickup day so they can stay on track.
"I know there's just a lot of debris out there, and it just seems like people are still putting it out," said Tim McCorkell with the City of Tulsa.
Officials say homeowners need to pay close attention to pick up times.
"Well, if we've already gone by and you're putting it out after we're there, it'll be up to the individual to get it to the green waste site themselves," McCorkell said.
"We're just going to make one pass."
Crews will continue removing debris this week. See the city's pick up schedule.
