Convicted felon Joshua Schneider, 33, led authorities on a car chase Thursday and they later found his car abandoned in a wooded area with his toddler child inside with no food, water or way to get fresh air in the summer heat, police said.
He is still on the run.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has identified a woman – Heather Black, 37 – they believe is traveling with Joshua Schneider.

NSU professor Tiffany Maher was found murdered inside her Tahlequah home in May.
Her missing car was found a few days later at a Tulsa apartment complex after a News On 6 viewer saw our story and called police and alerted us. SkyNews6 rolled tape as police arrived to find the car.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Schneider has been convicted of stealing cars and second-degree rape.
Court documents show Schneider was 19 when he had sex with a girl who was younger than 16.
The 2-year-old's mother says since Schneider did not rape a young child, a judge allowed him to have joint custody of their daughter.
Schneider had their daughter with him when police tried to pull him over near 81st Street and U.S. Highway 169 Thursday.
Officers say he sped off, hitting several cars along the way.
The chase eventually ended near 21st Street and U.S. 169 after investigators say Schneider successfully got away from them.
Later in the evening they say he abandoned his daughter in the car near Pine Street and Garnett Road.
OSBI says Schneider is a transient.
His last known address is in Broken Arrow, but a recent warrant that was issued has a Motel 6 listed as his address.
The hotel is within a mile from where Schneider's car was found.
The toddler was taken to the hospital, but her mom says she is doing just fine now.
Schneider is also wanted for not registering as a sex offender.
Black is not wanted on any crimes.
If you see either Schneider or Black, you're asked to call 911.
