News On 6's Dick Faurot Teaches Meteorology To OSU Tulsa Students

Many viewers know Dick Faurot as a reliable meteorologist, but Thursday he went by a new title: professor.

He's teaching a crash course in meteorology to 30 students at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at OSU Tulsa.

The three-week course takes a look at forecasting weather and the history of meteorology.

But the students aren't going to go easy Professor Faurot.

"Our students are very, very inquisitive, and so he's really got a lot ahead of him in dealing with the 30 folks that he's got in there," said OSU Tulsa site coordinator Barbara Swiggart.

The last day of class is a tour of the new News On 6 weather center.
