The Interstate 244 bridge over the Arkansas River is likely to be a big trouble spot for drivers starting Friday.
Crews will begin a $41-million project to replace the eastbound bridge.
Over the next month, workers will build cross-over detours and make repairs to the south leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop.
Once the detour work is finished, eastbound I-244 traffic will move over to the westbound bridge until the project until the fall 2015.
