TPD: Promenade Mall Shoe Store Clerk Fesses To Embezzling $7K

An employee at Tulsa's Promenade Mall has been arrested for embezzling approximately $7,200 from his employer, an arrest report says.

Joshua Duane Brock, 21, of Tulsa, reportedly admitted to police he created more than $7,000 worth of bogus returns and exchanges over a period of months at The Finish Line.

In October 2012, loss prevention staff noticed Brock's computer had cash shortages and began monitoring his activity, according to the report.

When he was confronted on Tuesday, Brock confessed to taking the money, the report says.

Brock was released Wednesday morning from the Tulsa County jail on $2,000 bond.
