Tulsa Police: Armed Robbery Call Turns Up Stolen Car

Four men picked the wrong time and place to park a stolen car early Wednesday morning.

The incident began when Tulsa Police started investigating an armed robbery just after midnight near 34th and Winston.

While searching the area, officers found a Honda Civic with its parking lights on near 34th and Yale with four men inside.

As officers approached, the four got out and ran. One was stopped immediately by a police K9 officer, police found the other three an hour later hiding in a shed.

Police say the Honda had been stolen. They tell News On 6 the car and the men had nothing to do with the armed robbery.
