Oral Roberts University returned to Southland Conference action and was swept by Southeastern Louisiana, 7-0, on Friday afternoon at the Case Tennis Complex. The loss drops ORU to 1-6 (0-2 SLC).

The Lady Lions (10-0, 1-0 SLC) won both of the completed doubles matches to take the day's first point. Sarah Kriem and Regina Nychytailova dropped ORU's Marizanne Bouwer and Haley Martin in the top flight, 8-4. Adriana Castillo and Renee Villarreal added a win on court three, 8-1, over ORU's Rachel Scroggs and Natalia Dollar.

SLU swept all six singles matches. Nychytailova took down Martin in No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-2, and Nastya Tokareva earned a win over Bouwer on court two, 6-3, 6-3.

Valya Rusakova dropped ORU's Melanie Marlin in the third flight due to retirement, and Villarreal kept the momentum going on court four with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 win over Tori Dollar. On court five, Isabel Brito earned a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Natalia Dollar, and Castillo polished off the sweep with a 6-0, 6-4 triumph over Scroggs in the sixth flight.

The Golden Eagles will return to SLC play on Saturday, March 16, when they host Stephen F. Austin.
