Greasy Public Schools held a "Celebration of Student Success" Monday in recognition of the school being named a high progress reward school by the state education department.
"We are very proud of our students for their accomplishments in recent years," Greasy Superintendent Kenneth Limore, "and we certainly appreciate the support of our teachers, staff and parents in this achievement."

The day-long party included refreshments and a bounce house that each class enjoyed during gym class.
Greasy went from being among the lowest performing schools in the state in reading and math to being identified as one of the most improved, according to a news release from Alpha Plus Educational Systems Inc.
