The weekly update on Oklahoma's drought conditions remains virtually unchanged from last week's report.
The U.S. Drought Monitor's new map of the state shows 95 percent of Oklahoma remains under extreme drought and 42 percent was in exceptional drought.

Like last week, exceptional drought covers the Oklahoma Panhandle and most of north central Oklahoma. It also includes a large area in southwestern Oklahoma.
The rest of the state except for the south central part of the state is in extreme drought despite rain the state received since last week.
