Tulsa Police are investigating a woman's report of a home invasion in South Tulsa early Tuesday.

Police got the call just before 12:30 a.m. at the Stonegate Village Apartments in the 7200 block of 87th East Avenue.

The woman told officers the man knocked on the door, which she opened. The man then forced his way inside.

The woman said she scuffled with the man who fired two shots, one of which hit her in the hand.

Tulsa Police say four children and two other women were inside the apartment at the time.

"We do have some information that there was some kind of arguing going on inside so right now our witnesses aren't too forthcoming. So we're trying to find someone who would give us any information about it," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Kurt Dodd.

The victim was treated at the scene by EMSA paramedics.

If you have any information about the incident or the man, Tulsa Police want you to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
