A City of Tulsa 24-inch water main break at 193rd and Port Road Saturday impacted its ability to provide water to Rogers County Rural Water District #3 which serves rural customers east of Owasso.

District #3 officials say because of the break and another 10-inch water main break, their pumps were having trouble refilling the rural water district's water tanks.

The result was low water pressure for its customers including Owasso Public School's Stone Canyon Elementary School.

Officials say the city of Owasso agreed to provide the rural water district water at a connection near 86st Street North and 145th East Avenue and that has helped.

Tulsa crews were repairing the damaged section of pipe.  The repairs are expected to be completed Monday evening.
