Tulsa Man Charged With Murder, Held On $2 Million Bond

A Tulsa man has been charged with the shooting death of another Tulsan which occurred last month.

John Williams, 25, was charged Tuesday with one count each of first degree murder, feloniously pointing a firearm and possession of a firearm stemming from an incident in the 200 block of East 29th Street North on April 20, 2012.

Tulsa Police say they responded to the home and found 36-year-old Alvin Shay Johnson with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at a Tulsa hospital.

Williams remains in the Tulsa County jail on a $2 million bond. His next court hearing is May 21, 2012.
