A runaway driver led Tulsa police on a 10-mile, slow moving chase early Sunday morning.

Tomas Dzurilla was driving a Geo Metro towing a small trailer on westbound Interstate 244 near Memorial just before 5 a.m. An officer tried to pull him over for impeding the flow of traffic by driving too slowly.

Instead of stopping, Dzurilla continued at slow speeds, exiting the highway. He drove through a parking lot at Sheridan and Admiral then got back on I-244 going eastbound.

Police say the driver exited southbound on U.S. Highway 169. Dzurilla, 39, finally pulled over just near the 31st Street exit after running over stop sticks set up by police.

The Terlton resident was booked into Tulsa County Jail for traffic complaints.
