Hundreds of American Airlines workers plan to protest at Tulsa International Airport on Wednesday.

The protest which begins at 11 a.m. is part of a nationwide protest by the unions. This comes after American Airlines' parent company AMR rejected two union proposals.

The Transport Workers Union and flight attendants union each pitched buy-out plans that would allow workers to voluntarily leave the company before their jobs were cut.

But American says the unions' plans wouldn't save any money.
