Bartlesville Man Guilty Of Murder In 3-Year-Old's Death

A Washington County court jury found Joshua Benton guilty of murder.

His girlfriend's son - 3-year-old Christian Norris - died of a spinal fracture in 2010.

The 24-year-old denied using force on Norris and didn't know how the child got a spinal fracture which eventually led to his death.

But the jurors didn't buy it. They had the option to convict on a lesser charge but went with murder. They recommended a life sentence with the possibility of parole.
