Three generations of a family are homeless after a Creek County house fire Tuesday morning.

A family of eight lived in a trailer house in the 23300 block of West 71st Street that was consumed by flames.

Keystone and Sapulpa Fire Departments responded to the blaze.

"It is a remote area, not a whole lot of water," said Keystone Fire Chief Chris Blackburn.  His department brought tanker trucks to extinguish the fire.

"It was fully engulfed upon arrival," he said.

No one was home when the fire was reported at about 8:30 a.m., and there were no injuries.

Blackburn said they suspect a faulty wood stove caused the fire, but it is still under investigation.
