A fund has been established for a Claremore firefighter who lost his home to fire. Brandon McClain and his family lost their home at the end of 2011.
Fortunately, the McClains were not at home at the time.
The blaze destroyed the family's home and contents including their vehicles. McClain's daughter Taylor has spina bifida and requires special medical care. All of the medical equipment that was at the house was destroyed in the blaze – including the van used to transport the 16-year-old.

Members of the International Association of Firefighters from Tulsa, Claremore and surrounding communities held a pancake breakfast Saturday morning to raise funds for the family.
"The past week has taken its toll on firefighters throughout the metro area," said Chad Miller, union president.
"The tragedy that fellow firefighter Brandon McClain and his family have endured is heartbreaking."
Donations can be made to the Brandon McClain Benefit Fund at any RCB Bank locations.
