Back To School Block Party Helps Tulsa Students With Supplies

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Community members gathered Saturday in north Tulsa to show their support for education... while taking advantage of the beautiful weather.

The Greenwood Christian Center held their Back to School Block Party which features free give-a-ways, including shoes, haircuts, backpacks, and school supplies.

All while pushing the importance of education for kids.

"We're just impacting the community today... We've got tons of rides, and every snow cone flavor you can think of, and it's just a good thing to help the community," said volunteer Michael Todd.
