OKLAHOMA CITY -- Head coach Carol Beall prefers to stay under the radar, and with a record of only 13-16 last season, that may not be a hard feat.
“Well, not many people are aware, but the suburban conference is one of the toughest there is,” Coach Beall said.
The team’s number of wins and losses don’t necessarily reflect her team’s ability though, Beall argued. The Lady Jets lost to teams in Class 6A or within their own conference. Of the games they lost last season, all but one team made it to the state finals.
This season, the Lady Jets return all five starters, including Dilan Webster, who averaged 14.0 points and 10 rebounds last year. She’s be supported by Antoinet Webster, who racked up 10.0 points and 10 boards per game last year.
The experience, the drive and the tough schedule will give the Lady Jets all the tools necessary to make another run deep into the playoffs again this year.
