Jones Stomps Tonkawa
The Longhorns advance to the second round with a convincing win over Tonkawa.

The Jones Longhorns defeated last year’s Class A State Champion Tonkawa 34-7.
Jones quarterback Michael Lowe opened up the scoring on a one yard touchdown run to give the Longhorns a 7-0 advantage.
Also in the first, Lowe connected with Tyler Seabolt on a 12-yard touchdown pass, to put the Longhorns up 14-0 entering halftime.
Jones opened up the fourth quarter with a six yard touchdown run from Lowe putting Jones up 21-0.
Tonkawa (6-5)answered with a 13-yard touchdown run by Jake Love who will play at Kansas next year as a tailback.
Lowe's third rushing touchdown from nine yards out gave the Longhorns a 28-7 advantage.
The Longhorns defense came up big to close out the game when Chris Humphrey intercepted a Tonkawa pass and returned it 82 yards.
Jones (9-2) advances to the second round to face Davis (9-1) Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
