Bridge Creek's Ryan Spangler Commits to Gonzaga

BRIDGE CREEK, Oklahoma -- Bridge Creek athletic director Jerry Wallis confirmed that quarterback, and top basketball recruit, Ryan Spangler committed to play basketball at Gonzaga.

The 6-foot-7 power forward was in Spokane, Wash. over the weekend for a campus visit and made his verbal commitment to the Bulldogs.

Spangler is also a standout on the football field, quarterbacking the Bobcats to three consecutive victories.

Against the defensive Tuttle Tigers, Spangler – who was No. 28 on the Oklahoma Sports Top 30 Seniors – passed for 174 yards and Bridge Creek’s only two scores in the 12-6 victory.
