YUKON, Oklahoma -- Several former high school football players strapped on the helmets one more time to take part in the Alumni Football series. Players from Mustang, Yukon, Putnam City and Westmoore competed for another shot at pigskin glory.

Alumni ages 18-60 are eligible to player in the series and reliving the glory days was great experience for those participants.

"It's great, some of these guys are still my best friends," PCO grad Jeff Hock said. "It's just the time of my life. I'm going to pay for it tomorrow."

"It was lovely," fellow PCO alumnus Kevin Starr said. "You always talk about putting the pads on one more time. I enjoyed and the guys enjoyed it too."

Putnam City won the first game 13-6 against Westmoore. Yukon defeated Mustang 15-7 in the second game.

The Alumni Football series is tentatively scheduled to hit Tulsa in May of 2011.
