Dale Snips Snyder to Advance to 2A Finals

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Dale advanced to the Class 2A championship game with a 40-23 victory over Snyder Friday.

Brenna Burnett led the Lady Pirates with 11 points and Kaylee Wilkins had 10.

Dale opened the second half on a 7-2 run and led 30-18 at the start of the third quarter. Shelby White’s three with 6:41 left in game cut Snyder’s deficit to nine points, however, that was as close as Snyder could get.

Marley Anderson finished with 12 points for the Lady Cyclones.

Dale will play the winner of Washington-Pawnee at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Fairgrounds for the Class 2A girls’ title.
