Putnam City Girls Ride Fast Start to Win over Eisenhower

NORMAN, Oklahoma – The Putnam City girls took down Lawton Eisenhower 64-53 in the regionals Thursday.

PCO started the game on a 9-0 run and led 19-6 at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Pirates held a big 30-13 lead at halftime and extended that to 53-25 at the end of the third.

The Lady Eagles went on a run in the fourth quarter to trim the final score, but it was too late to for them to become a legitimate threat.

Jackie Becker led all scorers with 19 points for PCO, while teammates LaShawn Jones and Porshe Jones added 17 and 10, respectively. Delaney Dunlap led Lawton Ike with 18 points.
