TULSA, Oklahoma -- The 911 call in this weekend's double murder was released Tuesday.

It happened Sunday in the 600 block of East 53rd Street North. Police say a woman had called 911 after she entered the home and found Brian Mitchell, 28, and his girlfriend, Kanisha Jackson, 27, shot to death.

In the recording, the frantic caller describes the scene to the 911 dispatcher. "I see three shells on the floor... I see blood splattered on the floor, over the wall."

Another person can be heard in the background screaming during the call. At one point the caller asks the other person "is he breathing?"

Jackson was a teaching assistant at Hawthorne Elementary school and the mother of a five year old girl.

Police believe Mitchell was the target of the shooting and Jackson may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Police are looking for the killers and the murder weapon and ask that anyone with information either email them at homicide@cityoftulsa.org or call Crime Stoppers at 918- 596-COPS.
