OSU's Football 101 for Women Clinic Date Set

STILLWATER, Okla. – The date has been set for an annual OSU tradition: the Football 101 for Women clinic.

It will take place on July 24 at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater. Check-in is set for 4 p.m. at Gate 12 on the northwest corner of Boone Pickens Stadium.

The deadline to register is Thursday, July 21. Fans can register for the event online at the OSU athletic site www.okstate.com

The clinic is geared toward women who are Cowboy football fans and who want an authentic OSU game day experience.

Participants will dine in the training table area that OSU football players enjoy and will get individual and group instruction in the meeting and film rooms that the players use.

OSU coach Mike Gundy and his wife, Kristen, will be on hand to visit with participants, answer questions and help with presentations on various aspects such as strength training and equipment.

Participants will also get to run out of the tunnel in the same fashion that the players do on game day.

Door prizes, a clinic shirt, a personalized commemorative football, a group picture and other items and events will be included.
