Thunder Begins Holiday Assist Program
Oklahoma City will take part in more than a month of community events.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Thunder announced that the franchise would begin its third annual Holiday Assist community initiative starting Saturday, Nov. 13.
The team will kick off its activities, which span all the way through the end of December, with a turkey giveaway on Saturday at the Presbyterian United Mission in Oklahoma City.
The Thunder donated 200 turkeys, while Homeland matched the donation with another 200. Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha will be on hand to help distribute the turkeys.
The program will include a variety of community outreach efforts and with Thunder players, coaches and staff.
