OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Thunder were back at the gym Saturday morning, shooting around just hours before they face the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers.
The Thunder, who beat the Lakers in the Ford Center Thursday night, will be looking to tie the series at 2 with another win over the reigning champions.
Check out everything you need to know about the Thunder.
Kevin Durant marked Kobe Bryant Thursday, holding the Lakers’ leader to 24 points and limiting his offensive play-making throughout the game.
Head coach Scott Brooks said he’ll likely match up Durant with Kobe again in Game Four, but he’ll also utilize other options to keep L.A. on its toes.
Oklahoma City Sports Director Dean Blevins outlines key points to Game Four.
“Kobe’s going to make the tough shots, he has a history of making tough shots,” Brooks said. “If we can get him to shoot a low percentage again, that would be great on our defense.”
The Thunder did an exceptional job clogging the paint in Game Three, finally finding a way to challenge the Lakers’ size on the inside.
“In order for us to stay competitive in this series, we can’t let those big guys just have their ways with us,” Brooks said.
“Like we tell all of our guys, ‘There’s so many other ways you can help your team win,’” Brooks said. “’It’s not about your own little scoring world, it’s about how we win games, and that’s defending.’”
The Lakers face the Thunder in the Ford Center at 8:30 p.m.
