TULSA, Oklahoma – The Tulsa Drillers are drawing closer to their season opener Thursday, when they will unveil a new batch of team uniforms.
The Drillers are going back to basics, using a simple white uniform at home and grey on the road. They will also use a dark blue alternate jersey from time to time.
After wearing the same uniforms for 26 years, Tulsa last changed its look in 2004 with a multi-colored palette. The Drillers admitted the previous try didn’t work, which is why they went back to a simpler look.
Tulsa will also only wear one hat style regardless of where it plays, and the team logo will remain the same.
The Drillers will start the season at 7:30 p.m. Thursday by hosting the Corpus Christi Hooks.
