NORMAN, Oklahoma -- OU’s Trent Williams and Chris Brown accepted invitations Monday to play in the Under Armour Senior Bowl.
Williams, the Sooners’ offensive tackle, was named a first team All-American, as well as first team All-Big 12. He’s started in 37 games during his career at OU and has a team-leading 97 knockdowns in his senior season.
Running back Brown earned Big 12 honorable mention after his 2008-09 season. He has 45 career touchdowns and 42 rushing touchdowns for the Sooners, ranking him in fourth place on the school’s all-time list.
He also made history in 2008 when he became the school’s 20th player to break 1,000 yards in one season.
The 2010 Under Armour Senior Bowl will be played January 30 at 3 p.m. Tickets are available at the Senior Bowl ticket offices, some Regions Bank locations, and all Food For Less locations. They can also be purchased online at www.seniorbowl.com or by calling (251) 432-4109.
