TULSA, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State guard James Anderson has been named a candidate on the 2009-2010 Wooden Award Midseason Top-30 list.
Anderson is one of five players from the Big 12 Conference on the list. Joining the junior are Kansas' Cole Aldrich, Sherron Collins and Xavier Henry, along with Damion James of Texas.
Anderson was actually left off the preseason Wooden Award list. He's one of 10 players added to the group midway through the season.
Anderson leads the Big 12 Conference and ranks 15th nationally in scoring, averaging 21.2 points per game. He also ranks 15th in the league in rebounding at 5.9 boards per contest.
