OKLAHOMA CITY -- Governor Fallin signed legislation has aimed at protecting rural landowners who don't want wind turbines on their property.
The bill prevents companies from using eminent domain to take private land to build wind towers. The bill's author admits wind power provides a big boost to Oklahoma's economy, but says it's important to protect landowners' rights.
