TULSA, Oklahoma -- An employee made a dangerous discovery at a South Tulsa car wash Wednesday.

A worker at a Clear Water car wash at 66th and South Peoria noticed something strange in the dumpster when he went to throw out some trash. He called police, who discovered remnants of a shake-and-bake meth lab.

One officer said this is a growing trend that people need to be aware of.

"That's usually what we're finding is some type of larger plastic bottles - like a soda bottle, and it's going to have some type of a residue inside that's generally not going to be found in that type of bottle," Sergeant Tom Bell said.

Officers called in a special team to clean up the lab. Any meth lab is dangerous, so if you find one, call police
