SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma – Five people were arrested early Wednesday morning after Sand Springs Police busted a mobile meth lab.
It started with a traffic stop on Highway 412 just east of Highway 97 about 3:30 a.m.
Police found a meth lab inside the car.
Three men and two women were taken into custody. Their names have not been released.
Meth labs are becoming a huge problem in Oklahoma.
An Oklahoma House committee has approved a bill that would require a prescription to purchase pseudoephedrine, a key ingredient in making meth. Police said the bill would cut down on the number of meth labs across the state.
