TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa public schools led the way, canceling school for the eighth straight day. Some districts have gone ahead and pulled the trigger and called off classes for the rest of the week.
We talked to TPS superintendent Doctor Keith Ballard. He says school buses still can't get to 35 schools across the city, that's about a third of the district.
While students are out of class, teachers get homework. They're filling out surveys on the best way to make up this avalanche of snow days.
So far, it seems tacking days on at the end of the year is the least-popular choice, followed by class on Saturdays.
The district is also considering adding minutes to each school day, or cutting into holidays and spring break.
You can have your say on what to do about make-up days by going to the TPS website.
