Tulsa County Murder Suspect Arrested In North Carolina

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina -- Police in Charlotte, North Carolina have arrested a 28-year-old Tulsa man charged with first degree murder and arson in connection with a deadly meth lab fire in west Tulsa on July 27, 2010.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office say Billy James Jones and 32-year-old Shannon Lee were burned in the fire at a home in the 2300 block of South 59th West Avenue.

Both fled in a car to a nearby donut shop where they called for help.

Jones and Lee were taken to a Tulsa hospital. Lee died in mid-August.  

Jones was charged with first degree murder, first degree arson and attempted manufacture of a controlled substance on December 1, 2010.

On Wednesday night, Charlotte Police located and arrested Jones on an a warrant out of Tulsa County.
