Single-Vehicle Crash Closes I-44 Early Tuesday

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Eastbound I-44 in Tulsa just east of Harvard is back open after a single vehicle wreck early Tuesday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver of a car heading east on the interstate lost control and the vehicle struck a concrete wall around 12:15 a.m.

Troopers closed the roadway until a wrecker could clear the vehicle from the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was not hurt. No word on what caused the wreck.
