TULSA, Oklahoma – A storm system moving east across Oklahoma will bring the risk of severe weather to much of Oklahoma over the weekend.
The storm system is expected to move into eastern Oklahoma sometime Friday night.
News On 6 meteorologist Nick Bender said the greatest risk of severe weather for Tulsa and surrounding areas will be on Saturday.
"Storms will be capable of producing very large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes," Bender said.
Bender said conditions will improve Sunday. Warm temperatures are expected for the start of the work week, with highs in the 70's. Temperatures are expected to drop by late next week, with highs in the 60's.
