Dump Truck Wreck Shuts Down An Exit On I-244 In Tulsa

TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A portion of the westbound lanes of I-244 at the northwest corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop in downtown Tulsa was closed due Wednesday afternoon after a 10-wheel dump truck overturned.

The truck was loaded with gravel, which has spilled onto the highway.  The closure affected westbound exit to Sand Springs off the IDL. 

Tulsa Police and Fire were dispatched to the scene.  The driver was not injured in the accident. 

A view from SKYNEWS 6 shows the accident has caused a slowdown of westbound traffic on the IDL.
