TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Tulsa Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck who went left of center and struck a car on 31st Street then took off on foot late Tuesday night.
The driver of the car told police officers, he was driving west on 31st Street, when he saw the pickup crossing the center line and coming toward him.
The driver said he tried to move over, but the pickup truck struck his car spinning his car around.
Tulsa Police called in the police helicopter to look for the driver of the pickup truck who ran north into a neighborhood near Sheridan and 31st Street.
The accident was called in to police at 11:30 p.m. The driver of the car was not injured.
In an unrelated incident, Tulsa Police responded to an accident at 18th and Peoria at 2 a.m. Wednesday.
When they arrived on scene officers found an abandoned Jeep. Officers say the Jeep had hit a retaining wall.
There was evidence the driver might have had a head injury, but no driver was found in the vehicle.
