TULSA, OK -- There is a chance for severe thunderstorms across a large portion of northern Oklahoma Monday evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch through 10 p.m. Counties included in the watch are Craig, Nowata, Osage, Ottawa and Washington.
The News On 6 WARN team says hail to 2 inches in diameter, thunderstorm wind gusts of up to 70 MPH and dangerous lightning are possible.
There is also a potential for flooding. Because much of the region is already saturated from rains last week and over the weekend, anymore rainfall could lead to flooding in low lying areas.
