BARTLESVILLE, OK -- Bartlesville Police are seeking the public's help in finding five new 2010 vehicles and one 2006 vehicle stolen from a Bartlesville dealership sometime early Tuesday morning.
Police Chief Tom Holland tells The News On 6, Quinn Chrysler called police shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday to report a burglary at the dealership located just south of town on U.S. Highway 75.
Holland says the thieves pried open a door to the showroom and then proceeded to cause extensive damage by vandalizing the offices and showroom area of the dealership.
The dealership discovered their key box had been broken into and four 2010 RAM 1500 crew cab pickup trucks and a 2010 Challenger R/T were driven off the lot.
The thieves also took a 2006 Dodge Charger.
Holland said right now they do not have a lot to go on.
A next door neighbor did tell Bartlesville Police officers he saw an unknown type vehicle driving in the dealership's lot at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Anyone with information about the burglary and the thefts of the vehicles is asked to call Bartlesville Police at 918-338-4001 or their Crime Tip Line at 918-336-CLUE.
