TULSA, OK -- A police chase and then a foot chase Monday evening by a Tulsa Police officer lands a Tulsa man in the Tulsa County jail.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Monday, a police officer observed a white Ford F150 pickup truck swerving in traffic in the 4000 block of East 71st Street.

The pickup truck's driver sped away into a neighborhood near 76th Street and Yale.

The driver jumped out of the pickup and ran away, causing the truck to strike a car in a driveway.

Officer Kyle Murray pursued the driver on foot and after a brief struggle arrested him.

Robert Gray, 25, was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding and resisting arrest.

Police say the pickup truck was reported stolen from Bob Hurley Ford in October.
