TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are looking for three robbers who tried to use a paintball gun to rob an auto parts store.

Police were called to the O'Reilly's Auto Parts at 7694 E 46th Street Wednesday evening to investigate an attempted robbery.

Store employees told officers the three suspects entered the store with one of them carrying a paintball gun.

One store employee realized the gun could not fire and shoved the robber away when the robber reached for the cash drawer.

The two began to struggle until a second robber joined in, causing the employee to retreat to the back of the store.  That employee then pulled a pocket knife and chased all three men out of the store.

Police say the three robbers jumped into a dark colored early 90's GMC Sierra pickup truck with the employee in hot pursuit, and got away.

No employees in the store were hurt.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
