UNDATED -- The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a freezing fog advisory which is in effect until 10 a.m. Monday for several Oklahoma Counties.
Visibilities will often be less than a quarter mile, and a light glaze may form on the roadways.
The advisory includes Tulsa, Cherokee, Adair, Creek, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Wagoner, Mayes, Delaware, Washington, Osage, Craig, Nowata, Pawnee, Ottawa, Rogers, Muskogee, Pushmataha, Choctaw, Pittsburg, Sequoyah, McIntosh, Le Flore, Latimer and Haskell counties.
Dense freezing fog is expected to develop Sunday night and last through Monday morning.
The icy fog can deposit a glaze of black ice on the already slick and treacherous roadways, according to News On 6 meteorologist Dick Faurot.
The National Weather Service urges drivers to slow down, use headlines and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
