Cold Temps Lead To Several Tulsa Water Main Breaks

TULSA, OK -- The cold weather this week is having an impact on the city of Tulsa's water distribution system.

Public Works crews had to shut off a water main at Admiral and Harvard after it broke Monday evening at 11:00. 

The cold weather proved too much for another water main as well overnight Tuesday. 

Crews were called to 27^th Place just east of Joplin shortly after midnight to repair another water main break. 

In both situations, Tulsa Police say roads near the breaks are rather slick Tuesday morning.
